Head banging

Head banging

Causes of head bumps

• The habit of pre-school-age children involuntary and repeated head-banging on the floor, bed, or floor is called head-banging, head-banging, head-banging, or “head banging.” • Pre-first-year infants can sometimes be seen doing this.

• Infants who do not receive enough love from their parents and children from families with many family conflicts are more likely to be affected.

• This habit is more common in boys than in girls and can also occur in children with disabilities.

Signs, symptoms of a head banging

• Most head bumps are normal and can be a symptom of an anger attack.

• Typical head bumps usually go away on their own by the age of 3 years.

• It can occur in 3-5% of pre-school children.

• In an upright sitting position, bend forward and hit your head against the floor, or bend your knees and place your elbows and forearms on the floor in a sitting position to support your upper body. photo 2-15).

• I hit my head on a fairly regular basis, and sometimes I hit my head 60 to 80 times a minute. • It is usually worse at night just before going to bed or just before taking a nap during the day. • Some infants with this habit have blood on their foreheads and bruises but do not know they are in pain and continue to hit their heads.

• Constantly hitting the forehead without crying in pain (see p.00 Childhood Autism).

• If you hit your forehead badly, the skin on your forehead will harden and you can get fat.

• Until this happens, there is usually no sign of pain.

• A simple head bump does not cause brain damage.

• Once you start banging your forehead, you may keep doing it for a few minutes.

• Continue head-banging for up to 15 minutes.

• Rarely, some infants last for an hour or two.

• Rarely go on longer than that.

• Some infants repeatedly hit their heads on the floor and bed, while others hit their heads and perform body rocking that shakes their entire body back and forth p.000. It can accompany sleepwalking or schizophrenia, and anyone in the family may have dyslexia.

• Children with childhood autism or mentally retarded children may have symptomatic signs of head-banging.

Head banging treatment

• Most of the toddlers who do head-banging usually don’t look happy.

• If possible, do not leave your child to sleep alone, but stay with the child until they fall asleep, singing her lullabies, telling funny stories, reassuring and giving them lots of unconditional love.

• Before going to bed, go to sleep with a “sleep routine”.

• You should not raise your children out of love for skinship.

• Recklessness should provide frequent physical contact and eye contact.

• Convince your parents that you truly love them unconditionally.

• Head-banging is more likely to occur in children who grow up with parents who have a lot of marital conflict and strife.

• Couples should receive counseling from a psychiatrist or family counselor to show their children that they are having a head-banging relationship and that their parents are living an amicable marriage and happy married life.

• Most head bumps that start before the first birthday go away on their own after the first birthday, but in rare cases can continue until the age of two.

• Head-banging, which begins around 18-24 months of age, usually does not continue spontaneously.

• This habit can cause a scar on the forehead. You should put a thick plastic pad around the bed or bed.

• You may hit your head harder when you have an illness, when you’re excited for some reason, or when you’re stressed.

• At this time, we must love more than ever.

• Reduce the stress on parents. • True love, unconditional love, is also the most effective medicine here. And a smooth and happy married life is a special medicine.

• It is rarely treated with first-generation antihistamines such as Atarax or antidepressants such as Imipramine (Reference; Pediatric News, July 2007).
