신경성 폭식증(신경성 대식증), Bulimia nervosa

신경성 식욕 부진, 선발적 식이 이상, 기능 이상과 음식물 기피 정서 이상은 사춘기 여아들이나 초기 성인 여성들에게 나타날 수 있는 흔한 식이 이상이다.
신경성 폭식증(신경성 대식증)이 있는 아이들은 복통, 수면장애, 자발적 구토 등의 증상 징후가 생길 때까지 대식(폭식)을 한다.
이렇게 대식을 하는 것이 비정상이라는 것을 본인도 잘 알고 있지만 그런 식으로 대식하는 것을 멈추지 못한다.
대식을 한 후 자기 손가락을 자기 인두 강 속에 넣고 인두 강 속을 자극해 의식적으로 구토하거나, 하제를 고의적으로 먹어 설사를 해서 체중을 감소시키기도 한다.
그런 식의 대식을 적어도 주 3회 이상 지속되고 그런 증상 징후가 3개월 이상 지속되면 신경성 폭식증아라고 진단할 수 있다.
신경성 폭식증이 있는 아이들은 정상적으로 식사를 하루 세 끼를 할 수 있고 체중이 정상적이거나 조금 비만할 수 있고 극심한 체중감소는 생기지 않는 것이 신경성 식욕 부진의 증상 징후와 다른 점이다.
그들에게 자기비하 및 우울증이 나타나기도 한다.
진단 치료는 신경성 식욕 부진과 거의 같게 한다.

Bulimia nervosa

• Anorexia nervosa, selective eating disorders, functional disorders and food avoidance emotional disorders are common eating disorders that can occur in adolescent girls and early adult women.

• Children with bulimia nervosa (bulimia nervosa) binge eat until symptoms such as abdominal pain, trouble sleeping, and spontaneous vomiting develop.

• I know it’s abnormal to binge like this, but I can’t stop bingeing like that.

• After binge eating, people put their fingers into their pharyngeal cavity and stimulate the pharyngeal cavity to consciously vomit, or deliberately consume laxatives to cause diarrhea to lose weight.

• If that type of binge eating continues at least 3 times a week and the symptoms persist for 3 months or more, it can be diagnosed as bulimia nervosa.

• Children with bulimia nervosa differ from the symptoms of anorexia nervosa in that children with bulimia nervosa can eat normally three meals a day, have a normal or slightly obese body weight, and do not experience significant weight loss.

• They may develop self-deprecation and depression.

• Diagnostic treatment is roughly equivalent to anorexia nervosa.
