Depending on the type of epilepsy, some types of epilepsy may last for several years and then go away and you will no longer have epilepsy attacks and live healthy thereafter. ▪ For some other types of epilepsy, treatment with anti-epileptic drugs does not relieve the epilepsy, and you may live with epileptic seizures for the rest of your life. See Table 13 ▪ Seizures sometimes occur for years, then stop, then go away and go away, and continue to be treated with antiepileptic drugs.
